Air Conditioning Re-gas

Has your car stopped blowing cold? Are you sticking to your seat? Are the kids moaning that “it’s too windy!” when you have the windows open? We feel your pain!

Here at Weedon MOT, we have the machines that will help you get your “chill” back. We can re-gas your car in about 45 minutes. We can also undertake leak finding if all your gas has escaped using UV fluorescing additives. A vacuum test is part of the re-gassing process we undertake to, don’t worry, we will not pump your car full of gas knowing it is going to leak away in a few days.  What we will do is run a leak detection process instead so you know what is required to get your car cold again. You will only be charged for the leak detection, not a full re-gas.

If you require leak fixing work to your car, we can obtain a quote for you but we must stress that Weedon MOT will not undertake the work nor will me make any financial gain from the remedial work carried out by the garage we use to provide this work for our customers.

Cost

The cost depends on what gas your car runs. If you need to check, lift you bonnet and look for an orange sticker (usually orange but sometimes black and silver – examples below) that will either have R-134a or R1234yf.
